Stretch Your Budget By Using Blankets!

Spring may be just around the corner, but it's colder than ever in Sydney. And with electricity prices currently through the roof, it's important to save any way you can. That's where blankets come in very handy.

Rather than turn the heating up when things get chilly in the lounge room, why not pile on a blanket or two? You can even shut off the heating completely on some nights, and this will save even more money. It can even be romantic! And I don't know one kid who doesn't like to snuggle under a blanket with mum or dad, especially if it's just before bed.

That brings us to bed time. An electric blanket may be good, but there's the electricity usage again. We've had customers from some very cold parts of Australia (Albany, Western Australia, for example) who say that one of our blankets is the equivalent of three other types of blankets. Now that's toasty warm!
So next time you're thinking of turning the heater on or the electric blanket, think about using a blanket instead, your purse will thank you for it!

Twitter - ok, here we are guilty. Our Facebook feed goes to our twitter feed. We occasionally get time on twitter for a tweet session, but not often. 
Pinterest - another fun one! We only recently started our account, but boy are we having fun! Come join us for some DIY, Kids Bedrooms, Yummy Recipes, Parenting Funnies and more.

Look what's back!

I Love Ribbons Cushion

A customer came to us asking about ribbons on cushions and if we could do it - our answer was what it mostly is "It's definitely doable!". The customer asked for ribbons all the way around the cushion she chose from our online store (the Butterfly Cushion). 

The result was a gorgeous cushion that her toddler daughter absolutely loved! Her daughter loves tags/taggies, so this cushion made her very happy.

The 'I LOVE RIBBONS' Cushion Cover is now available in our online store. Plus, you can choose any cushion cover from our collection, and add 'Ribbons all around' to it.  

Long time, no post!

Posting on our blog seems to always work its way down to the bottom of our list, which is sad. So, we're aiming to change that! Starting with this post :)

We've had so many orders and exciting things happening in the studio lately. We'll share them here on our blog, one by one.

Last week we made a few improvements to our Facebook fanpage, including a Reviews tab where customers can write a review about their experience shopping with us. So far we have a five star rating!

You hear us talk a lot about 'custom orders' - when a customer contacts us for something "a little different". People like unique things, something that is especially designed to their tastes and likes. And that's where we come in. We love working with customers to create what they have in their head and turn it into reality.
While we recently designed a 'Football Blanky' to a customer's specifications (we'll blog about that soon), our latest customer custom order has us in love!
