Mother's Day is just around the corner

Easter is over, which means one thing - Mother's Day is almost here! I love Mother's Day - I get breakfast in bed; handmade gifts and I don't have to cook or prepare food all day - perfect!

What better way to show mum (or grandma!) how much you love them, than by giving them a Personalised Blanket for Mother's Day? It will last for years and keep mum warm in winter - forever a reminder to mum that you love her.

Birthday Gift Dilema

When one of our kids comes home with a birthday party invitation, we feel excited (yay, they got invited!) and then concerned (do we already have something on that day?), and relief when we don't. Then in the back of my mind I keep thinking for weeks 'I've got to get a gift for that birthday party.'

Well, this weekend our youngest child attended a 5th Birthday party (one of her school friends) and I had been thinking 'What to get, what to get?' and then I had a light-bulb moment - why not make her a Blanky4me personalised cushion in her language?!

Now, we have been doing personalisation in four languages since we started Blanky4me six years ago (English, Armenian, Greek and Russian), so it was nothing new to make a personalised cushion in Armenian. But sometimes we miss what is right in front of us, don't we?
In years gone by our older children have gifted the Birthday party person with a Blanky4me Personalised Cushion and they loved it (and so did the parents!) - so much so that on days when teachers asked students to bring to school a cushion or pillow, they brought in their Blanky4me Personalised Cushion (our children were very proud)!

Anyway, enough rambling, here is the said cushion.

Ribbons-all-around Blanket

After working on a special request from a customer for a cushion with ribbons/tags all the way around, we were so impressed with the outcome that we decided to put an option on our website for customers to order a blanky with 'ribbons-all-around'.
You can imagine our excitement a few weeks ago when a customer placed an order for a baby blanky with 'Ribbons-all-around'!

Ta-da!

And from the feedback from the customer read like this: "Thanks so much for Amelia's blanky, both her mummy and I love it. You should have seen how excited Amelia's mummy was when I gave it to her. Now all the girls in my life have their own blanky ...
